Market Observations

Yikes!  These statistics are down across the board.  BUT, that doesn't mean what you might think it does.  Basically, our bottleneck is all because of low inventory.  Inventory is over 20% lower than it was last year at this time.  New listings are down and pending sales are down, but interest rates are low and our buyer pool is strong.  There's just nothing available for these buyers to buy!  One happy bit of news is that the average sales price in March for Bozeman was $474,000.  That's a lot, but it's also a lot better than the $601,000 of February.

The market always perks up in the spring, so we're really just at the beginning of the selling season.  As temperatures warm, so will the real estate market.  

With inventory so low, now is a great time to sell your house.  If we can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to let us know.
